Transleqo Data Requests
Effective Date: October 20, 2026
1. Introduction
This page explains how to ask us to see, correct, delete or move the personal data we hold about you on Transleqo. Transleqo is run by Huri Translations. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.
2. Your Rights
You may ask us to do the following:
(a) Access: Tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy.
(b) Correction: Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
(c) Deletion: Delete your data.
(d) Restriction: Limit how we use your data while a question is settled.
(e) Portability: Give you your data in a common format that you can take elsewhere.
(f) Objection: Stop using your data for a purpose you object to, such as improving a language with corrections.
(g) Withdrawal of consent: Stop any use that relies on your consent, such as marketing emails. You can also use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
3. How to Make a Request
(a) Identify your data: Decide which data your request covers. For example, your account details, your content and results, or your marketing contact.
(b) Contact us: Write to info@huri-translations.pf, from the email address linked to your account if you can.
(c) Provide information: Give your name, your company, the email address linked to your account and a short description of what you are asking for.
(d) Verify your identity: We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act. We ask only for what we need to protect your data from someone else's request.
A request is free. We may refuse a request, or charge a reasonable fee, only where the law allows it, for example when a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.
4. Requests About Content Sent by a Client
If your voice or words appear in material that one of our clients sent us, that client decides how the material is used. We may refer your request to that client and help them answer it. If corrections to that material are used to improve a language, you may ask us directly to stop.
5. Completion and Confirmation
We answer within one month of receiving your request, or within 20 working days where New Zealand law applies. If a request is complex, we may extend this where the law allows, by up to two more months. We will tell you within the first period if we do. When we have finished, we confirm in writing what we did.
6. Data We May Keep
We may keep some data after a deletion request where the law allows it, for example to meet a legal duty or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims:
(a) Invoices and billing records: We must keep these for 10 years after the end of the financial year.
(b) Records needed for a dispute: A legal hold suspends deletion when a dispute is expected.
(c) Licence and watermark records: We keep these for the life of the account or licence and 6 years after, to enforce the licence on our output.
(d) Voice consent records: We keep these for as long as the voice is used and 6 years after.
(e) Backups: Deleted data may remain in our encrypted backups for up to 90 days.
(f) Corrections already used: Under the standard option, corrections may remain in a model trained on them while that model is in use, because they cannot be taken out of it one by one. We review this every 3 years. From the date of your request, we stop any further use of your corrections. This never applies under the Never reuse option.
We will tell you which data we keep and why.
7. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority. If you are in the European Union, you may also complain to the data protection authority in your country. If you are in New Zealand, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
